ALREADY A DIVER?
Dahab is perfect for daily diving holidays!
You can dedicate your holiday to diving in Dahab, or you can combine diving with all sorts of adventure from Camel Diving Safaris to rock climbing! Here are ideas for weekend and 1 week diving holidays, plus a link to loads more
Planning a classic 1 week/10 dive holiday? It comes with a Camel Diving Safari in Dahab!
Start with 6 dives in Dahab, then set off on an overnight Camel Diving Safari for your final 4 dives. Your package also includes accommodation and airport transfers
Dahab dive sites stretch from the Caves in the South, to the Canyon and Blue Hole in the north. With more than 15 sites on our doorstep, plus safari locations like Gabr El Bint, Ras Abu Galum and the Thistlegorm wreck, there’s lots of choice for every level of diver.
Are you ready to extend your diving skills? Dahab’s deep dive sites are well-suited to PADI Advanced and Speciality courses
If you’re an Open Water Diver with the Blue Hole and Canyon on your dive wishlist, then it’s time to do your Advanced course.
PADI Advanced OW certifies you to dive to 30m, and introduces you to different kinds of diving like night diving, drift diving and more
This is a fantastic week of diving including your PADI Advanced course, extra dives around Dahab, accommodation and transfers.
You’ll dive Dahab’s most famous deep dive sites and do a 3 dive trip to the Thistlegorm wreck and Ras Muhammad’s Shark and Yolande Reef.
Already an Advanced Diver but still want to learn something new? Do a PADI Speciality!
These 1-2 day courses focus on a specific kind of diving that interests you. Nitrox diving, for example, or night diving, deep diving to 40m, underwater photography, reef conservation and more.
RESCUE AND PROFESSIONAL COURSES
Up until now, you’ve been learning about and improving your own diving, and having a great time exploring the underwater world. These next courses take you to a new level and change the way you think about diving.
EFR is 1 day basic first aid training and it’s excellent preparation for your Rescue Diver course. Whereas Rescue Diver concentrates on diving and the aquatic environment, EFR is day-to-day first aid. It gives you the knowledge and confidence to respond to every day medical emergencies with family, friends, neighbours and colleagues.
Rescue Diver is all about how to prevent and if necessary manage diving accidents.
You’ll learn to think more about the diving environment and others around you. You’ll recognise potential problems and ways to prevent them, and you’ll practice rescue scenarios. Many divers say this is the best course they’ve ever taken.
This 1 week package pulls everything together: your EFR and Rescue Diver courses, accommodation, transfers and even a bit of fun diving on the side!
Hopefully you will never have to put your rescue skills into practice, but if you do, it will be a week well spent!
Love scuba diving? Ready for a whole new way to work, travel and live? Then it’s time to go pro and do your PADI Divemaster!
Your PADI Divemaster course takes 3-6 weeks, depending on your experience to date. You’ll fine-tune your diving and rescue skills, learn to guide certified divers, assist with PADI courses and become a role model to divers everywhere!
Learn how a dive centre works from the inside-out!
If you have 3+ months, a Divemaster internship is an excellent way to enter the world of professional diving. In addition to doing your PADI Divemaster course, you’ll work on the dive counter, assist guides and instructors and learn a huge amount about how a sustainable dive centre is organised and run. And of course you will have an absolutely amazing working holiday!
