A certification that recognises your diving experience
Earn the highest award for recreational diving – PADI Master Scuba Diver.
Master Scuba Diver is awarded to Rescue Divers with minimum 60 dives and 5 Specialty Diver courses. It recognises your diving experience and your commitment to becoming a model diver.
You can build your experience and qualifications slowly, over many diving holidays. Once you’re an Advance OW diver with minimum 40 dives, you can also fast-track the process and enroll on our Master Scuba Diver programme.
Pre-requisite
Our Master Scuba Diver package has been created for Advanced OW divers with minimum 40 dives:
- If you’re not at this level yet, start with our Learn to Dive or Advanced diving courses
- If you’re short on dives, you can add extra dives to this package or plan a holiday with guided dives
What’s included

- Deep Diver Speciality – 3 deep dives, certifying you to dive to 40m – maximum depth for recreational diving.
- Night Diver Speciality – 3 night dives. Dive the site during the day, then again at night – you won’t believe the difference. Night brings vibrant colours and a whole new range of aquatic life.
- Underwater Navigator – 3 dives to fine tune your underwater navigation skills, including underwater map making.
- Enriched Air Nitrox Diver – theory + 2 Nitrox dives, certifying you to dive with Nitrox. Diving on Nitrox extends your bottom time and speeds recovery inbetween dives, especially useful if you are planning liveaboard diving or repetitive deep dives (e.g. 2 deep dive on the Thistlegorm wreck)
- Project AWARE – A Desert Divers Master Scuba Diver certification just wouldn’t be complete without an Eco Speciality. The Red Sea is unique in the world; as a PADI Master Scuba Diver, you are an important part of keeping it that way. Teach your family, friends, colleagues and other divers to respect the sea.
- Fun diving – Intersperse your courses with 8 extra fun dives
- EFR (Emergency First Response) – 1 day basic first aid course
- Rescue Diver – 3 days giving you the skills and confidence to avoid, and if necessary manage, diving accidents.
- Tanks/weights for all diving
- 14 nights accommodation, based on 2 people sharing a budget room (optional upgrade)
