For scuba divers who want to learn freediving

Most of the world’s top freedivers live, train and compete in Dahab for at least part of the year, and our freediving instructors are second to none.

You can start or end your week with a Beginner Freediving course, and still fit in some great scuba dives.

Diving, freediving and learning in great atmosphere Desert Divers is a miniature paradise if you want to have an amazing time in Dahab. Very friendly and profesisonal, Tanis, the Canadian manager, as well as every other person working there and the diving and freediving instructors, do everything they can to make sure you enjoy your stay. They all speak English greatly and have been very patient and flexible to satisfy my expectations. Having only 10 days in Dahab I wanted to do everything: scuba diving, free diving and I even managed to do a camel scuba trip in the desert as well. The organisation was perfect and both divemasters I got to know were very competent and interesting people. My free diving instructor Renee Blundon not only is a great teacher and passionate freediver, but also a very inspiring woman and thanks to her I learn safely all the basics and overcame my fears. Desert Divers is located next to delicious Marine Garden vegan restaurant and Sinbad Camp and restaurant, where I stayed - which is very comfy and cheap. The staffs in both places are friendly and it's a pleasure to relax there when resting before or after the dives. Thank you very much from the bottom of my heart to all of you! I definetly will be back asap.

"You'll never want to leave" Work took me to Dahab, but desert divers kept me there for almost double the time i intended. The adventures they offer seem limitless, and i really couldnt have enjoyed my time there more. Can not recommend more.

"Recommended without Reservation" 6 hours before I arrived, I had never heard of Dahab. It was running across Desert Divers on the internet that turned me on to one of my favorite vacation destinations in the world. Right from the start Desert Divers became my home away from home. Whenever I was bored, I could just show up and sit with good people for a tea and something would come up: multiple scuba dives, rock climbing in the desert, camel riding and camping with Bedouins, and learning free diving for three days. I'd recommend Desert Divers to anyone, and I'll certainly be back to Dahab. And don't worry, you don't have to trade good prices for a good time.
