A beginner freediver course is your first step into freediving, the purest form of exploring underwater world. You don’t need any previous experience in snorkeling or scuba diving.
During this course you will learn proper breathing techniques, safety procedures and efficient finning techniques, which will allow you to dive down to 16 meters and hold your breath over 1:30 minutes.
Sounds impossible to do it in a few days? With the help of our experienced and certified freediving instructor you will achieve it in a fun and relaxed way.
*The course will be conducted either as a PADI Freediver Course or AIDA 2* (depending on scheduling and instructor available) Note: for the PADI Freediver course the touch manual is an additional 20€. This manual covers all three PADI Freediver courses so you will only need to buy it once.
To enroll in a beginner freediving course you must be at least 15 years old. Good fitness and comfortable in the water.
We conduct the beginner freediving course over 2-3 days. The course consists of three parts - knowledge development, confined water session and two open water sessions.
The course schedule is flexible and generally looks like this....
|Day 1||Knowledge development, confined water training in Masbat Bay|
|Day 2||Two Open Water sessions at Lighthouse Reef|

Huge cross of the list, free diving is one of the craziest, scariest but rewarding sports I've ever tried. Thanks so much Renee Blundon for your world class tutelage. Definitely a highlight of my life visiting Desert Divers Dahab, and Egypt is quickly turning into one of my favourite countries.
“Great People, Expert Staff, Wonderful Laid-back Atmosphere” Desert Divers is the best when it comes to organizing a trip to the desert, in or on the water. They really know what they are doing, and are always friendly and willing to help out. I went for several days last week to complete part of a free-diving course and it was the perfect break away from the stress of day-to-day life. Two big thumbs up!
